Aéro Famille Besorgues – Canyoning for everyone in the Ardèche
The Aéro Famille canyoning trip is ideal for families and mixed groups, combining adventure, discovery, and moderate thrills. Designed to suit both children (accompanied) and adults, this route offers a good compromise between fun activity and gentle immersion in the Besorgues river gorges.
Activity Procedure
After your booking, you will meet directly on site at Labastide sur Besorgues
After booking, head directly to the Besorgues site.
Upon arrival (free parking), your instructor will greet you and get the group equipped (limited to 12 people for comfort). All equipment is provided: wetsuit, appropriate footwear, and helmet.
After a clear safety briefing, a 15-minute walk will take you to the canyon’s starting point. And then the adventure begins!
On the agenda:
- 🛝 Slightly larger natural water slides
- 🌊 Games in moderately deep pools
- 🧗 Progression techniques and safe passages
- 💦 Jumps (optional) in controlled areas
- 🐾 Observation of the river, rock formations, and wildlife
- 🎢 Zipline (or other aerial element) at the end of the course
The total duration is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours in the water, depending on the group’s pace and the conditions.
All the obstacles (jumps, slides, zip lines) are avoidable if any participant (child or adult) does not feel comfortable 🙂

The Family Canyon is accessible from age 8 (depending on the child’s height and comfort level). It’s an ideal age to discover canyoning gently, accompanied by parents and supervised by professionals. - 🏊 Be comfortable in the water You don’t need to be a strong swimmer, but you must be able to move calmly in the water. Swimming sections are short and always supervised by the guide.
- 💪 Good general physical condition The activity is moderate but requires a minimum level of endurance. You must be able to walk, move on rocks, and participate in the fun little activities (jumps, slides, zip line).
- ⛰️ Be able to move around on natural terrain Access to the canyon is via an approach hike on slightly uneven terrain. It is therefore important to be able to walk outdoors and accept a natural environment with rocks, water, and changes in elevation.
- 🩺 Inform your guide of any health issues To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, it is essential to inform your instructor of any specific medical conditions (asthma, joint problems, etc.). The route can then be adapted if necessary.
