But a nature reserve like this is so rich that only the guidance of an expert will allow you to uncover all its secrets.
Whether you are nature lovers eager to immerse yourselves in the biodiversity of this haven that is the Ardèche Gorges, or parents keen to introduce your children to the fragile beauty of wild nature, we have prepared an unforgettable outing for you!
Accompanied by a professional kayak guide, a certified nature guide in the Ardèche Gorges, we offer a 12km descent of the Ardèche River at a leisurely pace, focused on discovering the flora and fauna of the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve. This outing doesn’t follow the standard 12km route; it’s a unique, full-day experience entirely within the nature reserve!
Two outings per week are offered during peak season (July/August):

Whether you choose Thursday’s Outing A or Friday’s Outing B, the level of service is the same. Of course, each day has its share of surprises, but you won’t feel like you’ve missed anything. You’ll take breaks to observe the wildlife and flora, and enjoy swimming. The guide will take the time to answer your questions and share their knowledge of this sanctuary environment.
